The state of alarm here in Spain ended today, 9th May 2021 bring a relaxation of Covid restrictions across the country.
In Andalucia, the regional president, Juanma Moreno, has announced a three-phased process of 'normalisation', with phase one starting today through to 31st May.
What does this mean for us?
There is no night time curfew in place any longer, we are free to stay out until any hour.
Bars and restaurants are allowed to stay open until 12 midnight.
Groups of up to 8 people can sit together inside establishments and up to 10 people outside.
Nightclubs are allowed to stay open until 02:00 but dancing will only be allowed outside.
There is no limit on the number of people who can get together in private homes.
Celebrations such as weddings etc are allowed with maximum 300 people inside and 500 outside.
The border of Andalucia is now open so we can travel into other regions with no restrictions.
